this is just lovely MoM! You've got some seriously good ambient chops - I hope to hear more from you in this genre. Tell Jack about this song - I think he'd really like it too!

It was nice to make your acquaintance last night, dear. Have you come to terms with the Camus reference? (I met him once, you know. What a DIRTY boy he was!)

I don't know where you met this fellow, 'google', but he certainly doesn't sound very nice....

Now I want you to go straight home, Anne, and don't talk to ANYBODY along the way.

Hey
Flecky, sparkly. A nice sort of disjointed. I would imagine the waters are rarely still off Tagus.

Enjoyable!

underwater subway ride?
This sounds somewhat familiar, the repeated chords in the background waft by between flashing shafts of track-noise, and create a trance-like effect, the same effect one gets as they are hypnotized by the scenery flashing by just outside the train window, with the further-distant scenery chopped up and repeating at slower intervals. I like it.

Now allow me to indulge in a non sequitur. I had a dream that you were serving me breakfast on Christmas morning at this strange corner cafe, all decorated inside with trees and fake icicle-strips, even decorated in the back kitchen. I just wanted scrambled eggs, and you got a sparkle in your eye and went to fetch my order. When you returned, there were threads of those plastic icicle-strips mixed into my eggs. I remember refusing the order, and requesting a new batch, saying, "I prefer my eggs ex-tinsel!"

Do you remember that dream too, or is it just me?

It was nice meeting you in a textual way the other evening in chat. Off to listen to another piece of your music. This one was enjoyable and thought-provoking.

ttfn,
Drakonis

Quite an imagination
I was thinking 'opium schooner', but underwater subway has its merits........

As for the dream, was that you sitting in the smoking section? Without cigarettes?

opium schooner indeed
my favorite thing about good ambient music (which this is) is not what's most apparently happening on top, but all the amazing stuff moving underneath and going on deep in the background, sometimes partially obscured, only half heard, a suggestion, a fleeting image or feeling. And while the consistent movement on top lulls you into the trance, those subtle messages take you on the journey, keeping you engaged and asking all the questions that need to be asked. this is a wonderful piece of ambient bliss. sorry i'm so late in getting here. thank you.

Why....
Thank you, dear, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

I have another one ready to go, but I'm not so sure two ambient numbers in a row is the right thing to do.
