Description:
A song where I first learned how to use drum loops on garage band.
Hoping to have a real drummer pick it apart at some point.

sounds great-I hear a definite Slash influence.Great tone.Is that a Tele? Keep on playing!

haha.
Slash is the reason I picked up a guitar.
The solos and the guitar lines are all done on my telecaster in the picture.
I have two other guitars but rely on the one for everything.
Thanks for listening

Thanks for welcoming me!
This was one of my least favorite tracks for awhile.

Thanks for the comment; it's really appreciated.
When I first did this song I had one guitar and the solo and drums.
I harmonized the guitar lines and then added a bass and re-did the solo
in one take.
Thanks again!
lengold
jam. Could do with some vocals over it too.
Cheers

turn it up and let it fly. D you got the chops. Digging down and taking it where it goes. Who knows what that means? But there you have it.
Great jam. Need more great jams at MacJams!

nice recorded tone dom...and the background guitars are fantastic...the solo is drenched in blues tone and attack and i like it very much...as i said it recorded well...the thing we need to work on is pacing....obviously there are some clammy notes, but the feel is there toally...but starting flat out like you do is the wrong part...think of the solo as a paragraph...with an opening statement that sets the tone for what follows...make the story progress...dropping the volume and intensity down in the middle section as you do here is cool, but people's attention is going to wander, cuz you just smashed them in the mouth...try easing into the solo...build in intensity...drop up and down in volume, but never stop the forward motion of a solo from beginning to end....
if it is a short solo within a tune, then you can come out swinging, but for jammy stuff like this..a slow boil is cool.
the background guitars are extraordinarily good.
You have come a long way in a short time, that's for sure. You are a born guitar player and I have no doubt you will work hard to hone this great gift god gave you.
all my best my pal dom!!!
