Description
I wrote this song a year ago today (13th November 2007) when life was very very tough for me, I was suffering with depression for over 4 months, I threw away all the mirrors in the house my car brakes seized up, I grew a Robinson Crusoe type beard, didn't bother washing anything (myself included), didn’t leave the house once in that time or even open the curtains & if it wasn’t for a few GOOD FRIENDS & the love for my daughter Lucy I probably wouldn’t be here today. I wrote this song during the healing process so thought it worthy of an airing.
It was done in the early days of me using GB so it contains a loopfest of loops, so just close your eyes & pretend you can picture me sitting at the piano singing it lol - anyhow, I am still proud of it as it was the first song with Lyrics & a Vocal I had done & was a very cathartic thing for me to do - & yeah I know it's as slushy as ***t but it literally got me here today!
