This song has potential -- your guitar playing is an able
foundation and it's EQ is pleasing enough. You're hanging
back too much on the vocals, though, both in your
delivery and in the mix. If you really believe it brother then
let it out! There's a difference between thumping
somebody on the head with a Bible and singing with
strong conviction. You've got the drive to be creative and
the guts to share your music -- now use that drive and
guts to put power into your voice. You'll amaze yourself
how great your voice will sound (you've got potential --
honest!) and plenty will cheer when you do it. Let it shine!

You've got a very unique acoustic sound. I like the
rhythms and chord progressions. I agree with sailhome,
don't be afraid to sing it out, but I personally appreciate
the laid back vocal. It feels like I'm sitting on a dock in
Maine listening to a local guy playing his guitar for all to
hear. I'm downloading this one for my collection.

I've got to add to the concensus here. I would just like to hear more of your vocals. I'm not so sure it was you holding back as much as microphone placement and mixdown.

I would love to hear another take at this one.
