Reflection Of You

Description
A tune we worked on a while back, but didn't make it onto the 2nd CD (didn't quite fit, stylistically). I think we'll resurrect it, polish it up and throw it onto our next CD, which will be a little more of an old-school rock sound (some early Tom Petty influences on this, along with others). Thanks for giving it a listen!

Lyrics
All the places that I go
And the faces that I meet
See the image I portray
And the nature that I seek

When they look at me
Are they seeing You
In all that I do?

Lord, I want to be
A reflection of You
(reflection of You)

Does the mirror on my wall
Always tell me what is real
Do I hide behind a mask
Or show the way I feel?

When they look at me
Are they seeing You
In all that I do?

Do my actions speak
Louder than my words
Will Your voice be heard?

I want to be
A reflection of You
(reflection of You)

With faces unveiled (reflecting Your glory)
We're being transformed
Into Your likeness (with ever-increasing glory)
That comes from you, Lord

When they look at me
Are they seeing You
In all that I do?

I want to be
A reflection of You

A reflection of You (I want to be)
[repeat]
