Beautiful.
Man, I wish I could be there to hear this! I am struck as always by how musically you play everything; you have the same passionate approach to playing music as Segovia. It comes through in everything you play. This is a very free and creative arrangement of these tunes, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Great job, and I hope you have a lot of fun playing this in church. I know they're going to absolutely love it.

Thanks so
much for stopping by and posting.
I will repost this post from Icomp because it means a lot to me based on what you posted cc.

I really think it went well, there is a lady in the audience, her name is Susanna and she is of hungarian decent. She was raised on the opra stage practically. She is as precise as they come. She really enjoyed it she said. For so many years i've been very timid to mic the music, but I used a boom pole and one of my 451 b mics. My wife mentioned it was the best she ever heard as for as sound volume because the mic was on powerful but not over powering. I was afraid that when the mic started to feed back just a tad, I put it back pretty far. But again my wife said she heard every note.

Though I know the style I love to play is a bit improvisational I know classical guitarist such as Andre Segovia might not be their cup of tea. But I really love to kind of delve into sections of chordal sequences if the need fits. Today i kind of really wanted to play tribute to fine folk era music, With a section that I repeated a few times based on a bach feel. So I guess plain and simple I am not a purest were I play note of note every time. So maybe I am a Jazz-Classical Guitarist Though I really love playing great established works on the guitar.

Thanks again CC for your comments!

it is funny, I had a dream of Andre Segovia. Which a treasure, though i know he never played the steel string guitar. I hope I have not offended him too much.

Wonderful offering
I love the delicate fingerwork at the beginning - it puts me in a reflective mood. Then when the themes come through, it is like meeting an old friend. Your passion and musicianship really shine through on this, Bill!

I'm in no position to say so, Bill...
...but over the time I've known you, you've gotten better. ANd you were great to start with. But I notice a fluidity to what you do now in contrast to a stricter meter in your earlier tunes...

You've also gotten to be a master of the recorded acoustic guitar tone, and not just one tone, either. You have different approaches to the recorded tone, and the reverberant space, in each piece.

Maybe
having Betsy, my Santa Cruz Acoustic helped. That and becoming addicted to recorded.

But I know I have to constantly be aware of what I am doing, it is very challenging !

Thanks Ed
