with beautiful and fluid playing. Way to go Jon, another great collab. Such an array of creative vibes is very pleasing to the ear, your tunes are refreshing and up lifting.
peacepiano
Great collab by all. The theme is very interesting. The part I like the best are the key additions, nicely mixed in. Smooth work, sounds like all three of you were working together in a studio somewhere.
Happy Holidays
Bill
ktb
Bill, happy holidays to you and yours as well. Drew made the same comment when we were trading files. Like we all hunkered down somewhere, yet truth be told these last two collabs have been very organic, very easy (for me at least :-) to come by.
magnatone
This is GREAT! wonderful piano playing there KTB! Terrific blending of talents, very enjoyable listen - thanks guys!
ktb
Karen, I'm glad you like it. When the initial sound bed is this rich in texture its like cheating
Macaudion
I so would love to do a piece with you one day, ktb. I really like this. Sooo smooth. Your playing is just beautiful on this.
Mr. Kopr on bass... How sweet it is, Sir. Very nice.

ktb

jiguma
Wildlifeanalysis's real name is Wombat - kind of makes me wonder why you need a second nick :)
But I digress .... Lovely sounds and playing by all concerned. You guys work well as a unit.
Neil
ktb

As soon as this started my eyes widened!
It grabs you straight away. Everything is working so well together.... Loving the bass work especially... But everything is top.
Very dreamy
ktb
is surely the rock that pulls this together imho. Drew also did the mix, which is something I aspire to do as well. Nice to meet you Ted. Headed to your page next
lengold
groove - you all sound great. Wonderful mix too.

Len
ktb

Doadars Uncle
Nice drive! I love this percussive piece! Great comp!
ktb
Doug, funny i had the same thought. Even with the other one we did, motion, moving scenery came to mind. Thx for listening
Drew Kopr
KTB, thanks for loading up another widelife track and letting me play on it. I really enjoyed your keys and wildlife's playing. I really like the sound we are getting on these tunes. Let's convince Wombat to write several more of these! Tx again, Drew.
ktb
was all mine I believe. Thx for creating these stellar mix's. Thats what captures the ear. I too hope we can get wombat to do another dozen or so :-)
guitapick
...great up and open feel with a good, solid drive to it...nice collab, guys....
ktb
Bob, glad you like it. Hopin' these guys will wanna do some more like this
paul f. page
...just filled with such life, such vitality, such happiness. Wonderful perc track that drives the whole thing...and the keyboard work is stellar!!! I'd love to hear you string out a flute tune above a lot of this...Just a thought. Very very inventive orchestration and addition of instruments as the number progresses. You guys are fantastic....Oh, and the swell in volume as you near the end is just the bit of tasty pizzazz that highlights your remarkable mixing skills. What a great composition.
Peace.
Paul
ktb
yes, an excellent suggestion. Paul it thrills me to catch your ear. Your thumbs up means a lot to me. Drew Korp takes honors for the mix. Thx again
thetiler
the movement of this, great work with drews bass and mixing.
But also the other sounds have a very nice running sound. Enjoy the depth and the classic feel of the piano as well and the list goes on!
Way to go!
ktb
'preciate it Bill. You always have an encouraging word
paralax
really cool groove nice piano work.well done nice subtle change in the middle.
Terry
ktb
Terry, Wildlife posted these "inventions" up and the colllab process has been so easy, each of us just sort of jumping in and out to make it seem like we worked it that way ...not :-)
just when Drew mixed it together (again) all the parts fortunately meshed. good to hear from you
LunaTrick
Drew's bass fattened it up too... good stuff! Excellent piano riffs!
ktb
LT, thx for listening. The prod props go to Drew. Someday I hope I can pump up a mix like he does here.
Ed Hannifin
...and play on their own, but I also hear that everyone knows how to play well with others... Drew has great chops, for instance, but always has a nice thunky pulse that's connecting to what's happening in the drums, and both top and bottom for that matter...
And I keep hearing a surprising dollop of Chuck Leavell in the piano bits, such as I haven't heard in ages... Probably my aging ears, but it's nice...
Surprising and delightful listening, gents...
Ed
ktb
Ed, he's one of my fav's. I saw him a couple of times when he toured with the Allman Bro's and was simply amazed at his ability (esp solo's). Kept pace with the guitars all the way.
Appreciate the kind words.
tempie
man you guys are so absolutely professional. I sure hope you do this for a living. I like feter's comment about this being a "healing" tune. I agree. Puts you in a great frame of mind. Love the funky burble underneath everything. And the rainstick sound - never heard it used in a meaningful way before, but it sounds natural here...and are those horns toward this end or is that plucked mandolin strings? - whichever it is it is a great little surprise...very cool!
ktb
Craig, you are too kind by far. Wildlife did about 90% of the track. Rhythmic intensity and rainstick all. I think I used a horn like synth pad in there somewhere. I'm glad you like it
TEXASFEEL
Some great piano amongst a really tight percussion. Drew is king on that bass. Clean mix, everything is balanced out nicely. A real treat. Thanks for sharing.
ktb
John, I'll second that sentiment. Tempie said it best "funky burble underneath everything"
Thanks for listening
dolby
Truly great colab - love it. Your keyboard playing is musically so far ahead of my own knowledge it blows my mind! Another really interesting funky strut - great!
Phil
ktb
Phil, you make me blush. Any luck i have with playing i owe to midi. The white out of digital music :-) that and the good fortune to jam with guys like these.
Skean

Hey ktb,
Just listened to this and a couple other tracks. You've got the goods my friend. There always seems to be some very real joy that gets communicated in your tracks. I walk away feeling better.
Way cool,
Thanks,

ktb
Dave, thanks very much for the note. I just got in from a long trip and then read this, it is you sir, that dispenses joy.
