A comment someone else made 'rough and ready' really sums this up. It reminds me of vintage recordings where the emotions coming through the vocals are up front, and everything else really supports that emotion. Great song.

This is just how it should be - comme il faut as they say round here. All the instruments are meshing nicely, and I like the way the guitar steps backwards and forwards in the mix. Nicely played it is too, the guitar. Oh - and an unexpected ending! Excellent.
