Not Di Caprio?
Any music that is named after young Mr. DiCaprio is alright by me... Of course I realize this is named after some other Leonardo dude (whose last name ends in "i", I think), but still, it's very fine music! Is this for an actual film you are making?

No, this guy's much cooler than DiCaprio...
and besides DiCaprio's getting on in years now - come to think of it this guy's pretty long in the tooth himself.

Maybe I was thinking of Lenny DaVince. He was a Jewish/Italian lefty hitting first baseman we used to play ball with in Washington Heights.

Happy New Year Clark,
Charlie

As you well know...
a good performance brings life to music and I do try to give it life.
Thank you so much Marc.

Very nice...
Love the soft timpani and the flautine line singing like a bird. Lovely stuff!

Lots of space.
Very nice. It has a very light texture. I could see this as a film score, with endless variations and additional instruments as the action develops.

I'm not always...
so light fingered with my music Kristine.
It's kind of you to find that quality in this and yes I think this theme is certainly ripe for many variations.
Happy New Year,
Charlie
