Very catchy melody, hook and rhythm. It reminds me a bit of Lovin Spoonful or the 5th Dimension - hope that isn't a bad thing to you!

I actually think the mic hiss etc. adds to the raw flavor and groove. Sounds like a band playing down in the tropics somewhere underneath a cabana. Would be cool to start the song out like this maybe for the 1st verse and then morph into something super clean and polished for the rest of the song.

Hi Kicbal, (lol) secretly i agree with you, but i think i've had to make my peace with it.
I like the production idea though of starting it off like that and then morphing into something cleaner, i only wish i had the gear to do it!
