VARIATIONS ON A THEME BY BACH (by Gisli)

20 Variations on a theme by Johann Sebastian Bach. The theme is an aria, So oft ich meine Tobackspfeife (BWV 515a), in D minor, written in 1725.

The variations are much inspired by the baroque era and Bach’s own style of writing. The main protoype regarding form and structure are the Goldberg Variations
