really nice track great sounds and beats. what's especially nice about this is that it would work in a variety of genres (not just hip hop). saying that, it works especially well as a hip hop track since it doesn't sound like Timbaland or the Neptunes. got your own thing going. really good listen. Sounds Great Sounds great. I really liked the beat and sounds you used here. My suggestion is to add more variation to the beat and the base tracks. Good Hop foundation This is a genre that I am least familiar with so don't take anything I say too seriously. It sounds like a great foundation for some lyrical expression. Are you going to add that? I have grown to appreciate Hip Hop much more of late, so I will have to listen to your other pieces. Also I have to listen with headphones as the laptop speakers miss a lot of the spectrum. Abstract I adore the :44 and 1:50 kick ins and I personally loved the female vocoder voice in here and thought it fit so well, adding a sexy vibe to it. Oh well, I think I'll survive the trauma of you taking it out. Kidding!! The whole mix is just awesome P but in particular, 1:50 adds a really nice quality/feel to it! yo thanks char, that means a lot. in regards to appreciating the lyrical aspect of hip hop you need to really dig. i dont consider what i see on TV or on the radio as hip hop. thats rap to me. mainstream. hip hop/rap to me is broken down into categories. theres gangsta/thug ( which is the 99% what you hear on tv ) then theres conciuos hip hop, theres conceptual hip hop, there are punchline rappers, there are rappers that focus more on flow, then some that focus more on lyrics. honestly, yit takes a lot of work to find real engaging hip hop from a vocal standpoint. especially when all you see in the genre promotes violence, sex,scheming, etc. independant is where the real hip hop is. The stuff you dont hear on tv or radio. if you find the right emcees you will find that it is advanced poetry to music. if your really interested in hearing some vocally astounding hip hop send me a message, ide be happy to direct you to some real hip hop :) Check out my latest song called Confusion

Konscious
is this the final version u were gonna send me ? or do you still have other ones ? I like the new beginning and when the beat finally hits full force, i see why you had the female voice in it before, it brought a lot of power to the beginning after a drop off but definitely didn't fit with a song. This sounds really good man. I still have half a song written to this. What's the word on half human ?
