I have the honor and the chance to work with Bob Rodgers(http://www.macjams.com/artist/Bob+Rodgers)
one of the best blues rockin MJers around ..I had this
steam blues rockin tune for awhile I rewrite the lyrics
and recorded it at the studio with Mr.Bright and acoustic
guitar ...then as Mr.Rodgers words:( we built the song up from you sending me just the guitar, mando and vocals, finding the drums to fit, that took a while with lots of editing.I made the song a bit longer to your original and your suggestion of the solo at the end. I used 5 to 6 guitar parts for the harmonised solo on the end part.I put your original song into Cubase and worked on the drums first, to find something that would work was diffcult but I got there in the end. I had to get the right tempo and that's why you had to send me another recording with your guitar, mando and vocals playing along to the drums. I then built the song up from there and decided to make it longer, it's such a good song you have here and it ended too quick I thought.I had a different ending and then you suggested I repeat the solo, a great idea!!I did not want to play the same solo twice so I harmonised the original )
