Description
This song started out as an accident, I set my hand on what I thought was my desk, but then I hit 3 random notes, and heard a song around it in my head. After I finished, I pictured the mind of a sound minded person who lost their mind, but could still have occasional moments of sanity (the middle section), but knew that he would never be able to be normal again, because he would wake up lost in infinity (The intro and ending). Basically, I'd say this song is what would happen if you were to put Dave Matthews, The Mars Volta, and Explosions In The Sky together. Enjoy!

Thanks for pointing that out!
Yea, my bad on that one, I didn't even realize that I put explicit on that! Anyway, the song started out as a total accident, because I was looking for something in my room, and I turned to check the shelf behind me, and my hand hit the piano, and it landed on the first 3 notes that you hear in the song. When I heard the notes I played, I got inspired, and I heard the whole song in my head, so I recorded each part, and when I finished, I could hear a great accompaniment part, and I just kept adding and adding until the song became what it is! This is especially true for the guitar, I recorded like 6 different parts! The drums were a little tricky, since I only have the keyboard right now, I made three tracks for the drums, one track being the 16th note snare ghost notes, one track for bass drum and hi hat sloshing, and then one track for cymbals, but besides that, everything else just happened!

.
yeah, i've hit that Explicit button a few times by accident too!

thanks for describing your process. GarageBand is a great tool - there is so much you can do with it, and so many ways to accomplish your goal. i look forward to hearing more of your tunes.

thanks

(i find inspiration in accidents too.)

Wonderful accident
Certainly a genre-defying piece. Sort of a new age/jazz/rock kinda thing. Very refreshing and brilliantly inventive. I like your style.

Well,
to me this is a journey from accident through recognition to determination.
I could see two people meeting by chance, being compelled to seek each other out and then, falling in love. And because of some of your sounds, this all takes place on the sea shore. Nice. Thanks.
