Wasn't Enough

I fooled with a GarageBand loop (70s Ballad Piano 05) until I came to this. Now that I've been studying chord progressions and some music theory, I plan to deconstruct it.

I just listened to "A Tale Of Two Pianos" by kassia w/magnatone (http://macjams.com/song/49295) and was inspired to produce this out (and perhaps add a string arrangement). I'm toying with some lyrics, too.

I just felt times, when there was bad times
even though I tried, it wasn't enough


now I know regret
we didn't keep my bet
it crashed so soon,
so hard, so cruel

I guess the good times, weren't more than the bad times
and thought we tried, it wasn't enough
