Description
"This world is not conclusion" is a song for piano and voice, based on a poem by Emily Dickinson. I recorded it with piano and clarinet, but hope to get a recording wit real voice as well in the future.

André

Not Conclusion
Andreas - so great to have something new from you. This is beyond lovely, you have the true classical touch. Piano and clarinet both sound gorgeous - thanks

Beautiful
Never thought that clarinet and piano could compliment each other this well and make for such a full sound with this haunting, intriguing quality to it. This piece is beautifully composed and performed but quite short - I could easily listen to this is for much longer. Haven't read the poem, but despite the resolve at the end, it feels open-ended and invites you to listen to it again and again.

Beautiful
This is beautiful stuff. You really bring great "soul" to this. I would love to hear it with a voice, although it's hard to imagine how it could be better! Nicely done. Thanks for sharing. Peace.

Thanks...
Thanks, everybody for these nice compliments. I didn't post anything for a long time because my job (dishwasher in a restaurant) takes really all my time. Mostly the longest time I have in a day to write anything isn't more than 15 minutes or so. So even this short piece took me a while to finish. And open ending... well, that's what's the song about...

Maybe..
the 'open-ending', as you put it, is to leave room for more of this lovely sound. I enjoyed this peaceful sounding piece immensely, cheers M

Wonderful combination...
I've never considered piano and clarinet as a possible combination, but it works really well. I can also see the addition of a voice, working very nicely; though of course it sounds great as it is. I especially like the introduction of the higher piano keys at around 1:05; this was the highlight of the song for me. Really enjoyed this!

Beautiful
Sad and lovely. You could leave it as it is, and I would be very happy with it, but I'd love to hear it with a voice, too.
