Where Life Has No Value

Description
I've been watching a lot of great new westerns lately like Appaloosa, 3:10 to Yuma and The Assassination of Jesse James. All of those movies have great imagery and scores and they inspired me to try and make something Western-themed myself. I'm kinda pleased with how it turned out except for the guitar, this is about as close as I can get in trying to imitate a real guitar with my keyboard, but it still doesn't sound quite right. So if anyone with a guitar would like to give it a try drop me a note :) The title of the song is from a quote from Mr. Sergio Leone.

EDIT: You're going to have to turn the volume up a little, sorry for that.

nice work, i agree about the guitar
You're right, the guitar lacks a little depth of sound; this would sound really nice with a real guitar layered in. It's very pretty, I can picture it as background to a western with no problem at all.

thanks
Yeah, it would sound a lot better with a real guitar, I have an acoustic one but no recording equipment :/ Maybe I'll find someone to rerecord the song with, thanks for the review!

Where Life Has No Value
If they were the western movies or any other inspirations ..we are so
grateful for letting us have such great and thoughtful piano piece ...!
you built your piece so wonderfully ...incredible how the guitar melted
with the sound of the heavy bass rhythm ..this is fantastic my friend ..
thnx alot for sharin !!!!

The Western
nice job! this develops very well - i think the guitar sounds better than you think it does, although of course real instruments always win. But you did a nice job with this - i hope you continue to develop it!

Thank you
A keyboard will unfortunately never beat a real instrument, but at least I tried :)

full of emotions
Your guitar is really quite good.
Some parts may lack some bass or drums but, on the overall, this track sounds great. Thx for sharing.

Strumming
There is special software to simulate guitar strumming. You're right, that's the least realistic part of your track. Other than that it's good stuff.

I think you
have done an excellent job here. I really can imagine this as a western film score.
Cheers

bit
late off the mark here, but i have to say i really like this piece. the haunting simplicity of the piano, the ennio morricone feel as it comes back on with the drums. ok, it would sound a little better with a real guitar, but thats not to say that it doesnt sound pretty good. i can see the horses and the trails of dust and the gunfights when i listen to this.
