Prelude In A Minor Version 2 / Much Longer

Get Flash to see this player.

Description
Hope you enjoy this, it is much longer than the first one I did. I get carried away in chopin's beautiful melodies in his original A minor version.
I was struck by the structure in it's original A minor form. How much fun it is to improvise to this.

Here is the first one I did:

Prelude in A minor
bill - you're incredible. This is perfection on a guitar. A gorgeous, memorable, totally impressive piece of music. Why aren't you famous???

Prelude In A Minor Version 2
To re do a master piece is a very brave step ...and seems like they dont
seems that hard like a lame guitarist like me sigh !!! ..cos you seem to
conqur the idea of the last recording touch ... the guitar speaks between
your hands so nicely and easily ..which shows here so very much ...very nice
piece ....will keep listen to it and feel it even if its longer than this ...
thnx alot for sharin !!!

Enjoying
I did listen to the first, and like that one also. I really enjoy the fluidity of your playing. Your guitar mastery is a joy.

Thanks
Bill

Great
Beautifully played and recorded. I'm always amazed at your reinterpretations of themes. The change at 2.30 was ear catching and inserts of acoustic rock like at 6.37 add so much interest.
I like it!

Thanks SJB
For being so precise in checking out the piece. Ya, it's things like those sections that really put the lid on the coffin as far as never taken seriously on a all classical radio station.

What is that Simon song, the closer your destination the more you are slipping away, something like that . But like Sammy Davis Junior sings, "I gotta be me, what else can I be but who I am :)

I prefer this version
Bill - the clarity on all your posts is always so good, but this one seems to be about as good as I can imagine an acoustic guitar can sound. Like many of your pieces I like the way I can hear the shifts in your body position as the sound drifts ever so slightly between the mics. I also like hearing your breathing in the background - it sounds like you're playing a wind instrument rather than guitar when you wait for the right moment to take a gasp of air.

Lovely stuff Bill!

HA
Sometimes I think you know more about the pieces I play than me :)

I guess some people may think I am full of hot air, not they can hear it :)

Thanks again for the depth of post!

Enchanting
This totally hypnotized me (in a good way) - great playing, and wonderful recording. YOu catch the ambience of the space, and the real ambient sounds of the guitar along with the sparkling clear notes, and the touch of the fingers of the strings. I am, as ever, in awe. Magnificent and beautiful music, and truly terrific performance. Nicely done, man. Kudos. Peace.

You have everything off to perfection... even the recording of this beautiful piece. Like Magnatone said, "Why aren't you famous" or are you? This is like being in Heaven listening to this perfection, simply gorgeous, regards M

Bravo!
Simply beautiful, a very well-done performance and quite simply for lack of better words, awesome guitar playing. It is always a pleasure coming back to MacJams, and hearing my friends play. I hope one day to hear you play live. If you're ever in Southern California, please let me know. Again thanks for sharing your beautiful music.
