I Sing

This is a song I compiled and wrote last year for worship.

I wrote the first verse "I am listening..." in the shower about 4 years ago.

I wrote the second part "My Shepard leads me near the water..." about two years ago, put it in a word document, and forgot about it.

But just last year, when I spent a lot of time writing songs, I opened the word document and saw the verse. I thought it was great & walked around with it in my head for a few days. Than the other song came to me and I added it to the word document. Soon enough all I needed was a chorus and a bridge... I knocked 'em out in a 1/2 hr.

But this song has lyrics that really come from my heart.
