Insanely Amazing
Love this kind of stuff. I haven't heard the original, but this is pretty mindblowing. Crazy swirly stuff going on. Love how the bass melody picks up at 1:30. My only suggestion is that the overall mix is coming in pretty hot, especially during the groove at around 2 to 3 plus minutes. Sax part is really cool. Overall, I love it, love it, love it!

Thanx
Glad you like it. The reverbed electro snare is highly compressed, maybe a little too much.

It is a pity Vincent
could not have lent his ear to this. Space jazz. Man, what an arrangement, reminds me of David Holmes or the D.J Shadow era. Love all the changes in tempo, there is so much to listen too. You are very versatile in all the genres you use, so this is why you pull this off so well. The production is simply the best.

earworms
Well poor old Vincent could only lend one ear to this anyway cuz he sent the other one in the mail to his girlfriend. Thanks for listening and commenting, its comforting to know there are other ears out there that like this kind of stuff.

Oh Brilliant...
Love that opening sequence with the sharp shards of sound. Excellent mix - full and vibrant. This is really inspiring work - would go great with some vox too!

awe shucks...
Thanks man. Im glad you find this inspiring. I did spend a good deal of time on it. Plus I was initially inspired by elezz's track. Whenever you go over to iComp you may want check out some of his stuff.

Sonically tight
I love the trippy sonic background. This sounds a little more techno than trip-hop though. Minor point, I suppose.
I also like a man who likes horns. Doesn't seem to be a sound that's used enough here on macjams.
There's something very agro about this track. Almost angry. Am I right in hearing that?

Angry?
hmmm...an artist on iComp said it was "evil" but I think they meant it in a nice way. I suppose I like to put an edge on things that i work on. Plus I like to blend genres, so not pure trip hop but decided putting it in trip hop because elezz's original track I believe was made from turntable samples. Thanks for listening.
