Description
This is one of my more ambitious GB songs -- a lot of tracks and working with software instruments. Frustrating but I couldn't get this song out of my head and had to record it.

Lyrics
Traveled 'round the country
Saw my share of tears
Once smiling people
Wore a coat of fears
Worried that their loved ones
Would fall to the hand
Of aggressive people
From a distant land
Refrain:
Rise up, rise up
Cast off your fear
Rise up, rise up
And terror will disappear
"Have you seen these bad men?"
I asked. And they said, "No.
"But they're coming, you will see
Cuz the TV tells us so!"
I could see the panic
In each pair of eyes
"No one needs to come here.
You're already terrorized."
::Refrain::
A gruff man came forward
Stood 'bout six foot four
"We don't like no strangers
Knocking at our door."
He growled low and frightened
"You don't look like me.
You're one of them! Come to
Kill my family!"
::Refrain::
Perhaps I should have run then
Didn't want to die
But I couldn't leave them
Had to give it one more try
"Fight your war on terror
Deep within your heart.
Live your life in freedom
And fear plays no part!"
::Refrain::

The lyrics and message behind your song are great.
The music is not bad, but what you really need is a
live band with a gospel choir here... give this song
what it deserves! I know, I know, money doesn't
grow on trees... but I can dream, can't I? Anyway, it
was an enjoyable tune and I look forward to your
submissions.
