Description

Marionette was a piece I had written as a jingle, hence the repetitive melody. There are some really cool portions to this piece, including time changes and countersubject. There is a lot happening; you'll need a few plays to really pick the strings apart.

If orchestration and theme building is your thing, this might be for you!

yes, some really cool portions
Nice abstract piece of music... I like the overall orchestration and ideas in this. There are a number of places (in the strings and clarinet part) where it's obvious you're playing a keyboard, some of the glisses run together, and although the strings sound quite good, the clarinet sample sounds rather synthetic. But I liked the staccato double-bass hit idea, and your finale was cool.
