My fun Contribution to the Re-union Festival. I wrote this, before thinking to myself that it wasn't from the year I joined, so I contacted Neil and sent him the song. He approved and said that it was fine, since it IS about an event here at MJ, so I hope it brings a smile to your day. M

The R-Uni Parade
There’ll be a parade, a ‘Re-Uni’ Parade’, Of artistes her that MacJams ever made,
Neil from Oz, will lead because, he’s one of the few who remember how it was,
He’ll scour the land, for woman and man, to have a re-union meet, that is his plan,
We’ll have a ball, one and all, to celebrate the day we came to call.
So many friends across the world; I can tell you there will be no flag unfurled,
Wear what you like, but come along, you know this is the place where you belong.
Whoever you are, short or long, doesn’t matter just as long as you sing a song,
We don’t care, if it’s a Waltz, Jazz or Techno it’ll end up in Macjams vaults.

Some you will like, but some take a hike, the minute that you’ve posted up your song,
Some take a bow, they tell you how, they came to put the zing into their song.
Since I came along, I feel so young. Every song I write I feel like I belong,
To a worldwide family, who think I’m only three and who all have hearts of gold, it’s plain to see.
So join the Parade, the big Parade, we don’t care who you are or where you were made,
New or Old, just be bold. Loosen up and let yourself be cajoled.
Post up a song, and join us tonight, proving Macjams is the bestest ‘Site’,
Give it some ‘Gloss’, ‘cause it’s in Oz, there’ll be music playing well into the night.
Off we go, to put on a show; Neil has organised it all so it should flow,
Like ‘Jake the Peg’, just show a leg, and follow the sound of music as you go,….. follow the Music…. We all have Neil that we can thank,
He told us all to go and have a good … time, so thank you everyone for your support……….
We’re off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz.
