Description
I'm posting this track as more of a question. I've gone back over this song again and again. I've remixed it, come up with several versions. This is the original. It's another of my "monkey house" songs. I've spent too much time with it to know whether it's any good or not. Is it? Is it too slow? Too stumbling-ly awkward during the transition? Should I scrap this project and start over? Are the drums enough to make you want to bob your head?
I'm very tempted to get drunk one night and sing over it myself. I will, of course, gladly take requests for a collab on it.
In general, I wanted to make a West Coast-style funk with some Southern twists.

I think it's a promising track - a bit boomy on the low drum - lots of potential and yes, give it a go with your vox!
