Description

So this is one of the first songs i ever posted to MacJams. In fact one of the first songs i've ever written. This has been redone with the Symphony Orchestra Jam pack - and originally it was remade for my Soundtrack to an Imaginary movie. I finished this up a few weeks ago but held back to post it for the Mac Jams Reunion festival. So here it is, in all its symphonic glory.

	Very well done Liam Symphonic music is not easy to do, but you;ve made it look simple here. Everything is there and in abundance, with nice progression and build of layers. Evocative

..the title in combo with the sorrowful mood, conjured up a sense of a parting/farewell seen with a King and his daughter .. or a father and his daughter.

My only suggestions for improvement are: not keen on the brass sound (comes in at 03:07), sometimes the choices for percussion sounded a little haphazard to me .. and the realisticness of some of the strings could perhaps improve with some volume auto-mations (mimicking bow strokes or ditingthe midi notes velocity) as just now they sound extremely even velocity in places and thus a touch on the too synthy side... the sounds themselves are
of course top notch.

All and all a very pleasant, excellent piece (that a lot of time and effort went into) and got me started on the day and I hope you don't mind my opinion/critique/suggestions- I'm no expert.
