Description
A few a days ago someone stole my Tom Tom GPS Jan 30 2009 !. I used it a lot and I miss it. We really need had great times together. This is a kind of road feeling to this tune. I bought the GPS near Nashville Tn when I lived near there a year! I used it alot in San Francsico as well. Especially for those hard to find places, that San Francsisco is so known for.

Finding your way without a GPS with music
This is the perfect tonic for a lousy thing happening to you.

More brilliant composing and playing by the great Bill Furner. Beautiful, as always. Your skill continues to amaze me.

Knew this would be great
for two reasons: 1) It's from you... 2) When we are motivated by a loss (even like a Tom Tom GPS friend) often the music flows with intensity and this certainly runs down the road. Very nice nice nice!

you've obviously read my book
Play in a day- may I say you've done very well with it too. Seriously Bill - what a player you are, absolute magic. All the rudiments observed here - no fannying around. My apologies for not being here for a little while.

John.

Another very nice piece
too bad it takes a negative experience to produce such a positive result. And the true beauty is that the music will live on long after the GPS stops working for whoever stole it.

Roam These Highways
This does have a road, traveling light kind of feel to it. At times listening to your stuff it feels like you couldn't ever hit a bad note! Now of course I use bad notes to contrast with how good the good notes are. No such tip of the hat toward mortality needed here. You are a god with the guitar!

Hey Bill
Nice traveling music. Really nice!

Yeah, I'm a cartographer, make and sell maps. I insisted we sell gps, although it kind of competes with my profession. I love it! Hope you can replace yours!

It's a funny thing...
...you and Johannes (Cori Ander) are my favorite acoustic guitar performer/recorders around here, and you each take a different approach. You do the pair of small diaphragm condensers, and he does those large diaphragm Golden something or other mics, and you each end up with astounding results....

And this is leaving out your respective skills on your instruments, mind you...

I was afraid, Bill, that this might a GPS-mourning talking blues or something, but it has just what you wanted it to have, a great road feel that lets the listener (me) put in just that stretch of imagined mental road that fits....

Sounds really good, and your playing is really fluid and rolling....

With your ability
You could write a ditty about a stubbed toe... and make it sound like a wonderful experience...

that's just the way you've mislead us here...

some day we'll sit across from one another with wood & steel in hand!

Your keywords are priceless, Bill. And don't let anyone steal your mics- you r guitar sounds amazing. your playing is clean and crisp and sure. I hope you get another Tom Tom, or that the old one will navigate back to your house.

Thanks
Roxy, I did get Garmin, but to me I didn't like the spelling capabilities on it. So I went out an bought another Tom Tom.
Which i love, but before I got sucked into buying a Garmin because everybody was saying how much better the Garmin is to the TomTom. Go figure :)
