Description
Today is my MJ Anniversary!
I sat on this for a month waiting for this event to start. The other tunes I did for the project were just place holders to keep me busy while I waited to submit this song.
It's a song about a dead end job I had for over seven years.
This is my second and most redone song at MJ.
It includes: hand pecked percussion; added some lines adapted from a recent song; added a much needed solo bridge varied from the original chord progression (I actually think I did alright on the guitar parts); adapted and restored the original ending.
I really enjoyed doing this one. I felt the music so well, it's like I couldn't finish... I was actually a little sad when I finished.
I would like to get together with a bunch of you and perform this in grand style on a stage, if that were possible.

Lyrics
I've been on the Line
all of the time
all of the time
I'm drinking beer
every year
every year
I'm alone
don't use the phone
don't use the phone
Jim's got my card
I'm workin' too hard
I'm workin'
And I know
Yeah, I know
I'm not exactly right
Don't blame me
Please don't blame me
If I put up a fight
Say goodbye to old Jim Larkin
when I'm gone
when I'm gone
all of the time
all of the time
I'm drinking beer
every year
every year
I'm alone
don't use the phone
don't use the phone
Jim's got my card
I'm workin' too hard
I'm workin'
And I know
Yeah, I know
I'm not exactly right
Don't blame me
Please don't blame me
If I put up a fight
Say goodbye to old Jim Larkin
when I'm gone
when I'm gone
