I've entertained some bad ideas too..... I'm guessing you've been listening to a bit too much Perry Farrel lately... very cool stuff. If I can be so bold.... I think this would be cool if it were fleshed out even more production wise. Because of the theme and influnences, i would liked to have heard more reverb and echo and 'space'. Also, I couldn't blast it as loud as I wanted because some sounds started distorting at a certain level while some sounds still could have been louder. I only mentioned it because I dig the song, man.

Relic is right, sounds like post punk mixed with a lot of other styles.

Not my cup of tea
but I can hear the talent in the guitar and the voice fits perfectly. I think bringing out an aggressive baseline and some more action on the drums would help the song a bit. The song structure did not really appeal to me as the melody seemed secondary to the guitar riffs. I kept waiting for a chorus with a hook to happen at some point but really good vocals and great slashing guitar styles.

just kiddin thanks for your comment The song structure was on purpose IM bored with the same old every song needs a bridge. sometimes the backing rythm can remain the same while everything else sort of revolves around it, climaxing and releasing tension to create different points of emotion and interest. well like you say its not for everyone. I wonder is anything for everyone, maybe thats my next song.

Dude you totally have that Rush lead singers voice and he is amazing. I used to try and hit some of his notes and being a first tennor, I had difficulty. Same with the lead singer of JA, some times you sound like him and he is another incredible singer. You sound like your hitting some higher notes than me. You have nothing to be self concious about your vocals. You are an excelent, incredible singer, and this comment is no love fest I mean every word.
Awesome dude. I have to get this and some of your others on my IPOD. Downloading!

	Tim I have a question: do you free improv the vocals and then write down what you said, or do you write the words out first? I have a stack of books that I started to write in my teen years up till the present filled with poetry and ramdom thoughts. I sometimes use the structure of a certain peom then it becomes improv. ON this song It was mostly striaght from the written page. I think what makes it seem freeform is the fact that I do it in one take straight thru. then I go over it with accent tracks to make certain parts stand out. Thanks for the listen!

A mass of inventiveness. Something about your vocal here makes me think of cLOUdEAD (I think that's how you write it...) and i think I may have said that to you before.
