Hello Macjammers! I see I haven't posted a new tune here since last year around this time when I participated in Feb Album Writing Month (http://fawm.org) Truth is, I haven't written a tune since then. Just never have any time. But I decided to do FAWM again this year. It's nice since it forces you to write even when time is limited. So here it is... my first tune for FAWM 2009 and I'm already late! This is the first song I've done for a little concept I came up with last week. I'm hoping I can write a bunch of tunes for it. Briefly, it's about a time traveler who, as a side effect of time travel, looses some of his memory and must wait for it to return. Blah blah! We'll see where it goes...

A blinding sight

The sky was giving birth
to the shaking earth
we dropped to our knees
And then before us rose
a man in funny clothes
His stare was bleak
And though it seemed absurd
