Pain in empathy (W/ Hightened&TepTep

It's a collab who started a few months ago, "Hightened" post me a cool sound bed and ask me if I could do something w/it and I say yes I love it and will give it a try.

I have put all FX sounds in there and also more beats, violins, cello, I also played git (My Squire Strat) and so on... And a big thanks to "TepTep" who was so kind to allow me to use his cool vox track "Pain in empathy" I hope you don't mind that I'll use the name as it fits so well to the song, w/it the song be complete I think.

P.S I have try so many ways to master it and ya know you never be satisfied so I have to let it go.

Deep and dark
Foreboding to say the least my friend. I'm waiting for them to come and take me away, but maybe they forget about me and I'll be safe. Not a chance !

This one is well produced, as always, but the feelings are so dark it's hard to listen to it. Mind you I like what you did, it just takes me where I don't want to go

Wild styles
They do all seem to melt together really well here in a weird twisted way... Joe's darkwave/industrial march, Will's ennui-ridden singing, and Kenta's frenetic orchestration... somehow it all works! Cool! I had written on TepTep's original acapella piece that it needed something like this, and, there you go!

Very nice comment, and yes it is much going on in there, hum let me check okay! it is 28 tracks in this song so it is always little hard to have a balance with everything but I really like what you say in here, and maybe I come to rework it when I have fix my "Logic" problem, something I don't have time to do OR I'm to lazy to do it..lol

Yea! it is scary but I like it that way, dark songs is something I like to do, maybe it is because of the peaceful place I living in or it don't happen so much around me here ..lol
I don't know but I think I have to change my song making so my lady can sing on it as well, as she don't really like this dark song as much I do.

Dark

.. a very dark mood captured here, the opening sets the mood very well: hammered home with teptep's melancholic and lethargic vocal. His voice and this backing gave me shades of "elbow"..if you've heard of them? Very good.

The orchestration and mix of sounds is very lush. Perhaps a little repetitive overall .. but plenty going on in terms of sounds.

I'd drop the more bleepy, spacey sounds in favour of something more electric, sparking/arcing electrodes. Just my thoughts.

And I agree w/you it's can feel repetitive, I try to have a feelings with some depressed person walking true a sad life (deep thinking) I guess I did not capture that right or I should had explain it in the description…lol

This is a sweet song ! Now I have to take my Electro convulsive therapy sample out of one of my beats hahaha WOw this song is impressive man love how you sequenced the drums . THe vocal is creepy and yet not so weird .....My suggestion would be to never listen to this song on Hallucinogenics ! Nice dude ! I liked it alot :)

	Pretty trippy there sir. Kind of reminded me of that one song from the Matrix. But then it started getting super trippy and weird so I didn't know what to think of it. It is trippy and scary too I guess I like to paint in black.
Hey I'm really glad you liked the part w the strat as I try my very best to learn to play git,
even if it is hard it is kinda fun, I just sit at my home and check some movies try to see hove they do as I can't a note or nothing, I just play around and have fun using my ears and feelings.
