devo I was half expecting something like Devo. A really interesting pice of music. Well constructed. Are you planning on building on this or leaving it as it is?. . it's funny, i thought about Devo too, and almost decided to drop this name because of the wrong concept. but i liked it for it's dual nature and the nod to Darwin. i held off on the strings to allow the instruments to finish their convergent evolution. thanks Check out my latest song called One For Me

. yeah, the triplets worked out nice as a way to contrast the two little melody/rhythm/chord motifs. i was definitely going for the duet idea. that chord progression sort of emerged as i worked on it. it appears in many songs, can't think of an example offhand though thanks Check out my latest song called One For Me

. the initial idea came from improvising on the acoustic guitar, but what you hear here is entered note-by-note in the editor to approximate what i improvised. i used a flamenco guitar software synth and a bluesy guitar synth. it's my belief that we can all enjoy music regardless of our beliefs. thanks Check out my latest song called One For Me

2nd listen ...... time changes are pretty interesting Bill. Tune is a sailor looking over the mast of a ship at sea and contrasted by his love waiting on shore ... or not ... yo i loved this melody..very cool playing... i felt it might have been a tad to bassy out hte left channel..maybe eq the low end down a notch?... this was cool though, i would love to remix this and pu tit to nice drum pattern. . thanks Bud since it's Darwin's big birthday, i wanted to simulate convergent evolution in a musical way. it's only partly successful in achieving that goal, but it served as a framework. probably some more music will fall out of this experiment. Check out my latest song called One For Me

This is very nice ...the building of the piece is so
nicely done ..its timeless for what it might describe !
the guitar sound can take a second insterument supporting
but as is now certainly fine ...it gives a nice delicate
pic of a scene ...thnx alot for sharin !!!!
