Description
This is a jam recorded at the home of Tamadrumbum (Paul), on 2-14-09.

The song includes Anthony Dominguez, not currently a member, and myself. Anthony made up the song on Bass on the spot, to which I added guitar and Paul played drums.

I have been experiementing with echo and reverb lately and therefore the song is called Space Explorations. We had a couple other gems that nite, that's why this song is labeled version 2.0.

Instruments:
Paul Marks: Fancy Bongos/Congas
Anthony Dominguez: Fender Jazz Bass (red colored), Peavey Microbass Amp. Plucked with moderately calloused fingers
Brian Bondietti: Fender Stratocaster (rose colored), Peavey Classic 30 Amp, Ibanez 1.0 mm Paul Gilbert model guitar pick.

Recorded with a Zoom H2 Handy Recorder

The only mastering done to the track was to pan one channel hard left to bring out the bass a bit more.....

this reminds me of the 70s with all the progressive sounds and creations
of new moods and trips ...very nice the feel among the band ...very tight
and close response between all ...Good job with this my friend ...thnx

Yes,
70's-The bongos helped with that vibe I'm sure. I'm surprised how much we gelled considering we hardly ever get to jam together. I was pretty happy with the results considering that.

You can call this "indie" of course....
...but it has the best parts of "jam band" or even halfway through a GOOD Grateful Dead set...

I like that it's spacey and yet it doesn't get boring or pointless... My interest is easily held all the way through...

Yet another advertisement for the qualities of the H2...

Ed

ALL of the instruments' tones are really well captured...

I couldn't decide on a genre that fit, indie is close enough i guess.
