Description
This is a jam recorded at the home of Tamadrumbum (Paul), on 2-14-09.
The song includes cyrus0302 (Anthony), and myself. Anthony made up the song on Bass on the spot, to which I added guitar. We also added our friend Ben W. (not currently a member of MJ) on drums, while Paul sat a song or two out. Ben is a talented multi-instrumentalist and songwriter extraordinaire....
I have been experiementing with echo and reverb lately. On this song I also borrowed Anthony's Ibanez Baritone guitar (tuned regular) and turned up the distortion and phaser effects along with the volume pedal.
Instruments:
Ben W:Tama Drum Set (shiny white colored), Loud Drumsticks
cyrus0302 (Anthony): Fender Jazz Bass (red colored), Peavey Microbass Amp. Plucked with sandpaper-like calloused fingers
Brian Bondietti: Ibanez Baritone Guitar with sweet humbucking picups, Peavey Classic 30 Amp, Ibanez 1.0 mm Paul Gilbert model guitar pick, lots of effects.
Recorded with a Zoom H2 Handy Recorder
The only mastering done to the track was to pan one channel hard left to bring out the bass a bit more.....
