Description
Happy valentines day to my wife! Tried three-part harmony for first time. This is a rough mix but you get the picture...

Lyrics
now, now is the time
i gotta say I'm in love with you
and then I hope to hear
that you love me too

then there's nothing left to do
I'll spend my life with you

hold, hold me close
every night until we fall asleep
then we know no one could come
between us you and me
breathing softly while we dream
the world could hardly be
as wide as you can see

everytime I go away
the pain I can hardly stand
then you phone and it goes away
reaching me across the land
and it means
i'm waiting to see
when i can come back home

Thanks Vic
The vocals ran through the 'megaphone' effect in garageband. I think I went overboard doing the whole song. I might try it just on the middle eight. Thanks!

awesome
this a great song. I'm feeling intense envy for your gretsch... must take a few deep breaths and let it pass...
anyway, really good craftsmanship, although you call it a rough mix it's hard to perceive anything that needs to be changed....much enjoyed!

thrown back
this is GREAT man. terrific vocals. really like the standard 50's ballad structure with the distorted vocals - great "then and now" feel. definitely one for the ipod, so thanks! and i second Relic with considerable Gretsch envy. considerable.
