Description
Arranged two years ago from "loops only", Hugo's Kiss has been remixed (though the original was never posted here) to try to incorporate some of the suggestions made by other MJers for the general betterment of my other tunes.
I've been enjoying revisiting and remixing these pieces: it's as much fun as arranging the original tune. I look at some of the volume curves, for example, and see that they are just straight lines, so to vary the volume, to bring an instrument to the foreground and then send it back while something else comes forward for a while, to weave the various tracks into and out of each other, has been educational as well as enjoyable.
One of these days (I hope) I'll be able to post something more original than I have to date (ie: not loops only) but until then ...
Special thanks to Michael Blair for sitting in on drums. Other instruments are: fretless bass, synths, and piano.
Hope you enjoy this. Please leave a comment even if you don't ;-)
