Description
This is a work in progress … waiting for lyric inspiration. One possible setting is a crowded party where a man and woman (strangers) catch each other’s eye … with interest. Because of the crowd, their divided attention and perhaps their own shyness, they sneak glances back and forth at one another and begin a conversation with each other in their minds. The versus would reveal what they individually are thinking about this very interesting person. The chorus would be a duet. At the end of the song their respective dates take them away without them ever meeting. Unrequited love in the extreme.
