Not bad at all ... .. you can sing and can play really well (obviously) .. not keen on that ubiquitous vocal effect myself. Reminded me a little of Lou Bega's Mambo #5 in some way, but less mambo and more poppy. Enjoyed the humourous and tongue in cheek nature of the lyrics. Solid first post. Welcome to macjams Chris. Great tune Like the tone of the piano. I think "bonnie prince" makes a good point. I think you need some kind of arrangement with verse/chorus/bridge. What would be really cool would be to make the verses more of a lazy rap with the singing coming in the Chorus "oh no...". This may change it up a bit. The effects on the vox are perfect on this one as the lyrics are quirky. Very cool Check out my latest song called Weighted Down

I doubt a girlfriend would like to hear "Oh, no, she's in my bed again", but this is a bouncy, tongue in cheek song...not mean-spirited at all. I liked the melody and it was entertaining. Yes, develop the lyrics and add some variety. I commend you on tackling a new-to-you music program. I don't play anything at all and all of you musicians amaze me. Keep at it. It will be worth it. Heya man Heya Chris, its Alex (from Uni).. Nice one, great lyrics.. If I could just offer a little advice.. When doing vocal tracks Mastering is vital.. Don't get me wrong, It sounds excellent, but it can be difficult to get the right mix between the vocals sitting in the mix and popping out. Anyway, Logic is the Boy.. This starts of with exemplary promise and fades into tedium and the vocal inflections are crass- way too stylized, you manage to make 'bed' sound like 'bey-ed'. I'm taking time to offer this critique because I think you can do better. Be good.
