Description
This was an ambient piece that Bud put together, and I thought it was really pretty. As it was share alike, I downloaded it, and added some more stuff to it. I ran some sounds through Gleetchlab, and also ran some more through a granular synth. of corse there is plenty of delay (my fave being Augustus Loop). I really haven't been able to do any music (or MJ lurking) lately, so this was nice for me. Here's Buds original:

Hi Michael..........
I hope all is well with you and your family.

This is a terrific track. It adds to Bud's already brilliant track to make something wonderful.

I loved all aspects of this track.

Take care.

sound art
cool, really like the low rumbling ominous sounds. this would be good for an IMAX movie soundtrack or something like that, somewhere you could feel your body vibrating.
thanks for posting...

Hey Michael -
I really like what you've done here and was happy that you chose to work with my track. My tendencies is to keep these Buddha pieces very minimal - to leave room for additions - and you brought some wonderfully subtle stuff in. Is that first sound cellophane? The little tinkling sounds are nice too.

delicate additions to a great piece. The additions are very subtle, but also very appropriate. Nice Post.

Almost a bit scarry. Excellent for (movies with) lonely space travels - or underwater ditto for that matter... Great!

Odyssey...
ok I went straight from Lengold's sex anthem to this, and it's better than a cigarette :) Calmed me right down. But man now I could go for a pizza.

I agree with frenchtoast that it has a Kubrick - like quality. I really like the screeching sound that rises up and out of it here and there - creepy and otherworldly and adds just the right amount of tension to the otherwise trippy tune. Love the little digital chirp around 1:12...

Serenity
This is a truly serene piece that just soothes the soul. Quite beautiful. Just what's needed after a stressful day.
Cheers
Len

Until, with 5 seconds to go, I read Craig's (tempie's) comment directly above, which I must admit made me laugh out loud.

What a great addition to bud's track. This retains the impact of the original but takes the listener in a whole new direction. Love it. Well crafted!

Something
meant to entertain and suffuse the soul with renewed vigor. I can see a hundred monks, cross legged and hovering above the ground because gravity would lose out against the power of spirit energy. I don't know if anyone has really ever levitated, but with eyes closed, I guess you can convince yourself that you have left the earth behind. Thanks to Bud and to you. (It's nice up here!)

Just a quicky
to let you know I was here, faved, and downloaded. I love listening to ambient stuff (ala brian eno's music for airports) at the airport or before bed. And I'm fascinated by what effect the music - chords, progressions, sounds, frequencies etc - has on the mind. I know there is a science to it.

Michael, you are a talent, and kudos to bud!

space to breathe
it is slow. an ebb and a flow. the universe takes a breath, and creates a vortex of sound. the swirl subsides... and comes the exhale, and the particles come to life again. gentle music to create a vortex of thoughts. it is a perfect synergy of bud and michael2. 0x0

...one of those tunes that could, literally, go on forever and I probably wouldn't mind. Keep it simple and strong with the decoration to a minimum. Fine track.
