Description

Just a song that reflects my anger with our elected folks in Washington. I did a little over kill with the cry baby, that was intentional. This is not the finished product. I don't know how many times I have dumped this and started over. So I thought I would put it up as is and get some feedback.

	Great song Russ and wonderful guitar - i don't think the wah is too much either - sounds great. Nothing wrong with the vocal - you just need to be more confident about it - sing out. I agree with the sentiments in the lyrics ... and I don't even live in America. Our lot over here are just as bad. I do have a vivid recollection of the smug publicity photo of Bush and his sidekick shaking hands over the "bailout" - they looked like a couple of thieving spivs finally getting their hands on the loot.

Anyway ... nice rocking tune with some fine guitar work.

	Play Nice Great riff. I have one that's similar to this one. I haven't recorded it yet. May not end up doing it as I don't have my own studio yet. I'm not a big political protest song guy but, the lyrics on this worked for me anyway. Get that bass on there before you redeux anything else. It just may push your vocal to the next level. isn't always greener...sounds you got the same stinkass sort of politicians that we got,sod the people,snout in the trough and out for what they can get.
And then they get all offended and hurt when such sentiment is expressed...and another thing..Oww me missus has juast pushed me off me soapbox before I really get going...Great song a leeeetle more ooomph in the vocals is needed,a bit of nastiness like Lemmy ( Motorhead)or Bon Scott(early AC/DC)but kickass nevertheless.You have to finish this it's a genuine stick it to the man rocker......... -U -thats supposed to be the thumb out two figers up 'devils horn' rock gesture ...oh well!!

Cool tune
2 things spring to mind 1st the lead guitar would sound better with a sharper tone to contrast a great rhythm guitar track. By sharper I mean something that cuts harder not sharper tonally. This is on the verge of a kick ass tune man. 2nd bring your vox up a tad and add a touch of reverb or delay to the whole mix to give it some depth. Grrrreat tune man.

Thanks for the listen,glad you liked it. How I got the guitar sound?
Using the above listed tools. Probably the most importent on the rythem was the Blues Breaker. I had that set on the blues mode and about 1/3 turn up on both the drive and tone, volume all the way up. The twin had a little overdrive and prettymuch everything else was right up the middle except the volume (I like my neighbors). The Cry Baby was pretty much the same settings only with the Cry Baby. Miked with a Sure SM57, not a expensive tool but I do like it. Hope this is what you were looking for.
