interesting instrument choices here - the tin whistle and horn actually go very well together. i love the sort of choo-choo train feel of the whistle - makes this piece feel even more like a dreamscape, traveling along through mystical, whimsical places only briefly glimpsed through the train window until the music sweeps you to someplace new. thoughts I like this a great deal too... but I have a couple of critiques. When the "chirpy" Irish whistle comes in, it enters on the same beat and often in the same pitch as the strings behind it, and the two sounds melt together and are hard to distinguish. Perhaps moving the whistle to its own space would help... either offsetting it in time, or pitch, or even panning it a bit, would help it show up better. Secondly, the mix sounds slightly off, although it is quite good. It sounds like the mid-to-upper midrange has a bit of a peak, and so there is some resonance sometimes (for example, around 1:51) that is a little strong. Those are very minor points but hopefully useful... overall, this is a very enjoyable and evocative piece of music. ttfn, Drakonis Check out my latest song called Lullaby for the Inner Child

Parichayaka
Obviously the work of a composer/artist with plenty of background in the genre, a variety of vivid images come to mind. In fact I'm having trouble focusing on writing a comment here! Never resting on any particular chord or mood the whole piece moves along constantly, like a journey through a child's dream world - never staying at one place, exploring something new at every moment.
The flutes are an interesting addition to the more conventional orchestral backdrop. Very effective, full of uplifting energy and tremendous musical talent.
