Description
Another piece for the soaring video. This is a composition I rescued from the left for dead folder in my GB. I am sure everyone has one of those folders - mine is called "maybe?". Most of the tunettes that get put in there stay in there (for good reason), but I do get a kick out of listening to them every once in a while, and, every once in a while one of them gives me inspiration. That is what Groovy Glidin' did.
I arranged this song a little differently from some of my other pieces, in that I moved away fromn the traditional verse-chorus type of arrangement - this one is more akin to going in a circle. Additionally, I am still developing my symphony instrument arranging skills, so for those of you who feel you can offer some helpful suggestions for me on how I can improve upon what I am doing, please feel free. Well done symphony instrument parts in my opinion do 2 things: they blend well together, and, they still retain their distinction. I think I am blending the instruments well enough but but feel I am falling short in the distinction department. Please, constructive criticism is encouraged.
Michael (mv9591) continues to impress me with his ability to give my music that extra polish it needs with his mastering skills. Additionally, he has been stellar in his confidence and belief in my music and for that I am truly grateful. Keep up the good work, my friend!
Thank you for stopping by and having a listen - it is very much appreciated!
