Primordial Reckoning

Description
A really long song that put together some ideas that I have had for years.I love ambient sound clips of sounds so I used a soundfile that I recorded during a Parent's Day tour of the campus and added in some keyboard and sax. (See Offering to The MacJams Community) I must apologize for the length of this song and it had a working title but it's way too cheesy. (Crowded Meanings) see what I mean? I cant't figure out what to name it. Maybe you can. It is totally experimental. This was one of my first Pro-tools projects and it is of an experimental nature. I thought a lot about Tangerine Dream while I was making it. There are some interesting elements but it will not make you happier or better person or be a life changing event in your life. unless you are a real big fan of Experimental Ambient Music... Enjoy it anyway and if you hear something you like, then you got as much out of it as I did.

Please name this song
This is a progressive project indeed ...reminds me of all these bands
in the 70s and some on the 90s as they back to work again like Camel ..
this is totally a sound track a great soundbed to many scenes ...I would
suggest a psycho name .. Like "the Maze the Sleep and Me " ...thnx alot
for sharing !!!!

How about....
"Crowded Dreamings"? It seems to follow the sort of non-logical flow of a dream and there's a crowd in it, and all the reverb makes it seem sort of cavernous and fuzzy like a dream. And also you were thinking about Tangerine Dream.
Nice. That sax is gorgeous. I don't think music always has to be a life changing event, and this is just fine. I think incorporating the crowd sound grounds it in the everyday, and I am a fan of experimental ambient music so thanks for posting this.

interesting
composition. Not normally my area, but i had a definite urge spark up and explore the ideas it brought forth.

There was a feeling of being on the outside, apart from the crowds, and an almost subteranean quality to some of it. Made me feel like i was wondering the sewers in paris! So i'd like to volunteer the title "where no one sees" . perhaps not what you were looking for, but its what i think i would call it.

I too, love that sax inserted. Stays interesting all the way through the epic.

Thanks - anytime you need a sax part let me know... This song is too long I think but if you have that long of an attention span then more power to ya.... I guess I should really just stop apologizing for the song and just accept the fact that I edited it this way and it is what it is.... like you said, an epic. Thanks for droppin by neighbor

Awesome. This is a fascinating listen. I think this is one of the strongest tunes that you have posted here. Love the deep reverb that you used on the crowd. . .Oh yeah here come the sax. Love the overall tone and color that you have created with the sax part. There is some very emotive feelings running in and out of this. I am also getting some Rush Hemispheres vibe with the synths in the 2nd half of the song. You should be proud of this truly epic piece.

Hey , thanks for the very kind words. I see that you are in a state of transition with economy. Try not to participate too much in the recession... it is mere correction of the over priced stocks and the 'road goes on forever and the party never ends' mentality. Do well and thanks for being a good friend.

Andrew for first prize in the "name the song contest." There was a little something exchanged "under the table." Enjoy the newly dubbed song, folks.
