Gymnopedie No 1

Description
I made this three-part arrangement of Eric Satie's hypnotic Gymnopedie No 1 for some of my guitar class.

Each week I email the songs to the group as an mp3 file and a pdf before the lesson. I had to make sure with this recording that everyone could clearly follow their part. If I'd played everything on the same guitar no one would be able to tell the difference between them so I made the instruments sound as different as possible.

We could probably get quite close to the recorded sound if we all played in the bathroom.

Thank you, Feter; the style's a bit unusual for me and I don't play much nylon string guitar or electric bass. I was so surprised it seemed to work that I decided to put on MacJams!

cool
This reminds me of John Mclaughlin's Time Remembered album. He made arraignments very similar to your song. He had 4 guitarists play single note melodies like what you did.
