Description
This is another song that sounds like a departure from my norm. I jokingly refer to it as my "Cake" song. You'll know why if you've ever listened to those guys. It was a fun song to play.
I suppose the lyrics originated from being stuck in an airport so much this year. My family is in Nebraska and I'm in Montana - I'm flying back and forth every month this year.

Lyrics
Somewhere In Between
I watch the people, as they go by
Intent on their own purpose and fulfilling busy lives
This place seems a prison, we have our own rules
A city with a heartbeat filled with countless Kings and fools
Make way for the strong and leave behind the rest
Don’t forget to show who’s boss and remember show your best
So lets salute to this station, a stand alone nation
Move on with your task no room for procrastination
I’m waiting in between this place halfway from you to me
I’ve got some time to kill and I would love if it you could join me
I’m waiting in between this place its better than TV
I’ve got some time to kill just throw me in and toss away the key
The man with direction, he carries a smile
What’s hiding underneath him has been buried quite a while
We stand in line, we follow the right path
Amusing when observing if you’ve only done the math
We’re paving a way for the new found breed
But where is the person who will rightly take the lead
So lets salute to this station, a stand alone nation
Step back and marvel and this man made creation
I’m waiting in between this place halfway from you to me
I’ve got some time to kill and I would love if it you could join me
I’m waiting in between this place its better than TV
