I was influenced by Dylan when I began writing in the 60's. Lately I started recording two albums of those earlier songs. The background tracks are Band in the Box and imported to Garage Band. My other influences: Clapton, Van, Beatles, JJ, Joni, James, Jesus.

Lyrics
RED HEADED WOMAN ©1978 by John Bennnett
INTRO: LIKE A VERSE
1. I’ve got a red headed woman who’s in love with me
I’ve got a red headed woman who’s as crazy as can be
Well I know that I love her, and I don’t mind tellin’ her so.
2. She wears curlers in the morning, curlers in the afternoon
She wouldn’t be so bad lookin’ except for all here tattoos.
I have to chase her all over, cause she knows I’m her great big ol’ fool.
3. Well we fight on a Monday, and twice on a Sunday,
I love her on a Tuesday, any ol’ day will do me
I think we’re both crazy. my red headed woman and me.
[TALKING PART]
We go steppin’ out to those all night sleeze joints.
With the jutebox playin’ our favorite tune.
Then we slip in one more quarter
And go shufflin’ around a smoked billed room
Awww, sittin’ here on this bar room stool
Listenin’ to you mumbo jumbo.
Then she leans over and tells me, Let’s go on down to the greasy spoon
4. I’ve got a red headed woman who’s in love with me
I’ve got a red headed woman who’s lazy as can be.
I think we’re both crazy. my red headed woman and me.
GUITAR INTSTRUMENTAL. 2 VERSES
