Description:
Sun with starfield b.g. Rays from the sun spill forward around the silhouetted form of the Dustrider as it flies directly towards us. The ship passes slightly to our left, we are barely able to turn and follow the movement of the ship. A brief close-up profile of the ship reveals some detail including flashing lights, a weathered and scorched hull, etc.

Shooting over the HEROs shoulder the entire cockpit: windshield, controls, monitors, displays, etc. is in view. The SOUNDS of the ships engine and computer are heard, subtle BLIPS and BEEPS. The camera begins to shake and rock as the ship begins to penetrate the atmosphere. The Hero adjusts certain controls in attempt to remain in control of the ship. The HOWLING wind can be heard pounding the hull of the ship overtaking all other sound. First just dust particles, then sparks are visible through the windshield.

The outer atmosphere halos the planet as the Dustrider breaks its threshold. The erupting sparks swell to flames on the hull of the ship.

Rough draft of the music score for the dustrider descent animation scene from our long abandon project.

Nice Change &mdash 11/29/04 - 09:39:52 AM
I like the production on this piece. simplistic percussion is
very effective. nice layering of efx. Even though you say
it's not finished (it does to me) great piece.

Ooo, me likey &mdash 11/29/04 - 03:23:58 PM
Too bad I don't own the convertible Corvette to drive
down the 101 along the coast with this jammin' song
blaring. This piece is pure stealth. I'll look for this piece in
the Clubs.

Until then, I'll just play this on my iPod as I'm escaping the
stratosphere...

Perfek production.

Thanks for listening in! You're daughter has some real talent. I like her stuff a
lot. You sound like a great father and I know you're proud of your daughter.
