The intro is a little weird but once it gets going it's all good. Great musical bed. You should consider getting a condenser mic for your vocals. I think that would bring out your voice better in the mix than an SM58. Interesting topic for a song but I like it. You should check out The Decemberists. They have some haunting lyrics also.
