Description
This is kind of a work in progress, although as it is works to a certain extent. I'm still just singing into my screen, which, ain't so great. Hope to change that in the near future. The lyrics are a bit cheesy and personal, I guess its said to right what you know and right now change, moving and what the future holds is on my mind. Thanks

Lyrics
I’m just looking for a passage to happiness
Maybe down route 33
A rocket ship that will get us all past of this
Its gonna take you and me

Up off the bar/ far to the stars/ not with my car/ it’d fall apart
Something much more fancy

That rocket ship/ this fancy ship/ is well equipped/ to help us slip
Away from our misery

No time to reason/ just put a freeze on/ all those things that keep you from
Moving on

One day I tell myself I’m moving to Michigan
Somewhere near Ypsilanti?
Headed there with my honey Kiersten
Start a family

I got a plan/ a simple plan/ we’re the ones to make it happen
open my eyes to see

The day has come/ for moving on/ a different beat/ a brand new song
Something ‘bout being happy

We’ll take our chances/ that’s how romance is/ hand in hand in heart and mind we’re
Moving on

I’m not made out of plastic or metal no
I’m made of flesh and bone
Walking down that passage to happiness
Looking for a home

I hear the sound/ it’s all around/ it’s coming from a distant town
I need to use a phone

I see the lights/ I see the lights/ the big bright lights/ the city lights
I know we’re not alone

Keep moving on I know we’re not alone

Slinky
Reminiscent of Buggles for some reason, remember them? Terrific keyboard and nice snappy beat. Your vocals are great.
I'd give the bass bigger balls though.

This is a great track.

The longing in steady pulse
Cool singing. Clever lyric writing. I like escape songs. "Not of made out of plastic or metal, no made of flesh and bone." Interesting contrast of robotic voice and heartfelt message. I hope the android-sounding character in this song eventually achieves organic happiness.

Dadai and I did one called "Lighten Up Now" which you might enjoy: http://www.macjams.com/song/45039

I like the
unusual ideas you have. Vocals sound good considering you used the internal mic.
Cheers

Len. recording the vocals are a strange thing. singing into the screen, dubbed 5 to 6 times! trying to eliminate background noise, clearly i need some gear. thanks again

Lots of energy
with a minimal orchestration. The sparse sound really brings forward the lyrics. Bouncy and with great forward energy. Nicely done!!

Be well,
Doug
