Description
A really melancholy tune. It's sort of how I fell right now. Made with a few tracks of the Zebra 2, a bit of keyboard work and a lot of pencilling.

Thanks for listening!

Lovely
Lovely, although definitely melancholy. Sorry to hear you're feeling blue, but it has to be said, the music you've produced from that mood is excellent. This track reminds me of Vangelis, and has some lovely sounds. Ambient without being background music - very cool. Nicely done. Peace.

Great stuff...
You probably get tired of the Vangelis reference... but it would sit nicely on his Heaven and Hell album. Enjoyed very much!

Yes, Vangelis!
I never think about other artists' work really, when making a tune. They just happen. But I suppose what you listen to, or have listened to in the past, leaves sub-conscious impressions. It's very flattering to have comparisons made and I thank you, but maybe I'm not that worthy!

Well done
Dave, if you were my brother and you told me you were a bit down, I'd recommend you go write some music with it.

You either have a brother or you don't need one...

Great job of handling a mood swing. Your emotion comes through, and we can all relate to it. We've all been there, and we all will be visiting again soon. Such is the yin and yang of life. Nice usage of sounds in this song. Soon you will cheer up and write something from that state of mind. I'll be looking for it.

Don't have...
... a brother, but I've got three really cool sisters. Maybe this tune would not be for them, knowing their tastes, but it's good of you, certainly, to give such complimentary comments. Thank you.

Drama.
Quite the evocative piece. Beautiful and expressive. Lots of space, particularly noticeable in the opening seconds. If you're feeling the same way as this music feels, then I hope things will soon begin to look up. I don't want to sound selfish, but your dark feelings seem to produce powerful music that we are enjoying.

Yes, been feeling a tad low of late [see below] but things are looking up at last. Next up, a happy trancey thing full of bells, whistles and general merriment!

Cheers!

Love this!
Melancholy music is the best! And in this piece I think you manage to get some of Vangelis but also some of Tangerine Dream, or at least of TD founder Edgar Froese - both/all old favorites of mine. The result is sparkling in all its sadness. The result also confirms that you are one of my newer musical favorites!

I'd say enjoy this melancholy phase while it lasts. But then of course I have no idea about the reason for it (if any). (Didn't Ev win 3-1 this last Saturday ;-)

Thanks so much for sharing this, I'll be sure to put it on repeat...

Henke - thank you very much!
A "musical favourite"! A very flattering comment indeed. Yes, football is good at the moment, but both my parents have been in hospital, hence the depressing feelings. I'm pleased to say that things seem to be improving.

Cheers brother!

is a very cool artist and all these comparisons are very flattering, but unworthy really. You should check out some of his stuff.
