The Ice Maiden's Gavotte (remix)

Description
This piece has a rather pretty melody (glockenspiel, harp) set against some decidedly military-sounding percussion (snare, tympani and bells), and strings. It was arranged two years ago from Apple loops and remixed recently. I hope you like it.

Great tune! I hear a little Tchaikovsky in that. Beautiful tune! Tones of passion, and excitement! Ready for release!

I'm thrilled you like the tune, and the tones,
but now that you've heard the little so-and-so I guess I'll have to let him out ;-)
Thanks for the visit and the comment.

Very well done Richard
I've never used the glockenspiel in a song, but I can see how it works well on this. Nice arrangement and very good production. I love it when you bring in the Viola or Bass Violin after the glockenspiel part.

Very well done my friend, and a nice mixing job too.

Charming
Yeah, Tchaikovsky -esque, with a touch of John Williams and Danny Elfman. Nice arrangement.

Thanks, AJ, for the visit and the compliments.
I've heard of Danny Elfman but don't know much about him. I'm going to take the reference as a compliment, though. Thanks.

Almost as pretty as your picture ;-)
Thank you D-D for continued positive comments (although I know there are more than a few MacJammers who'd be offended by words like "nice" and "pretty"). I apologise that it's not another dance tune, knowing how much you like to dance.
Cheers

Really love the
composition - never boring, always alive. All instruments sound more than good, but the percussion especially stood out for me as excellent. Great production and mix.

I'm happy you enjoyed this piece; I had fun both in the original arranging and in the remixing.

Thoroughly enjoyed
the strength of the drums within the gentle and seemingly fragile melody struck by the glockenspiel.
Unusual and delightful. Well done. Thanks.

Cool
This is very cool. I think the musical "colors" are fantastic, and you do a really good job of arranging the different elements into a dynamic and interesting composition. You have a great flair for dramatic touches that keep the ear constantly engaged. Nicely done. Peace.
